I've been there fairly regularly since it opened and the best I can do is "okay". The worst thing about that particular place is the parking situation. There are not enough spots in the Wing House lot. The Red Roof Inn used to be a good parking out, but they've hired private security and have a tow truck idling in the parking lot waiting for you to park there. If that doesn't improve soon, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. I'm there most Fridays from about 5-7. Even lunch puts a strain on parking.
I believe the best wings in town are at Barnacles, which is behind the Brandon Mall (essentially at the corner of Providence and Lumsden). You can't beat the number of TVs and Tommy the bartender on the side bar is about the best I've ever run across. You can't beat a college football Saturday there.
The Wing House is convenient for the guys who live in New Tampa as well as us in the Brandon area because all of us can hop on I-4. But the parking situation may cause us to return to Barnacles for our Friday after work spot and the guys who live in New Tampa or north can either come with us or head up to their own local spots. I've spoken to the Red Roof Inn manager and she tells me that she's trying to work a deal with the folks at the Wing House to ease the parking. The 'House is going to lose a lot of business if they don't solve that problem soon.
