Under 8.5 CWS/OAK (-119)
Let me first start off by saying that the umpire tonight is 12-2 OVER but dont ask me why....coincidence is my guess.Hes middle of the road IMO.63% strikes on 296 ppg (6.4 bb/g) is not that bad.Perhaps even gets us some value here.8.5 should be plenty.First of all both teams hit lefties MUCH better than righties. This season the A's are hitting .251 and the Sox are hitting .244 vs RH pitching.White Sox avg 4.5 VS RH starters and only 4.0 in thier L7.OAK has been hitting the ball well lately but Garland should be able to control them IMO.As Ive stated OAK is no better hitting RH pitching than CWS.Avg only 4.1 rpg , the A's are 32-17 UNDER vs Rightie starters this season. In night games they avg 4.3 rpg (27-18 UNDER)....CWS 27-17 UNDER in night games BTW.Garland thrives at night going 9-1 w/ 2.58 after the sun sets.Saarloos whos home era leaves alot to be desired is a bit scary but the A's as well as the White Sox have great BPs and should be able clean up any mess the starters manage to get into.Saarloos has looked good in his recent starts (1.33 era / 1.181 whip L3) and does not give up many HRs at all.OAK has been tough on the White Sox in Oakland and may win this game as well but I dont see them scoring alot to do it.
Im off for the weekend...no plays tomorrow or Monday....Happy Fourth guys.
Be safe and best of luck to all.
