I guess MTV and VH1 are going to start a broadcast at 12pm east, but I don't know exactlly what they're going to show. Online you can flip back and forth and watch whatever you want. It's great.

I agree. AOL is doing a great job. Can't wait to see Dave Matthews Band in Philly.

First time in 25 years with Roger Waters and they only did 10 Wall shows in NY & LA originally in '80.


The coverage on VH1 all day has been horrible with bits and pieces and more "anchors" than bands it seems. They did let the Pink Floyd set go through until during Comfortably Numb their anchors come on during the middle before going back for the guitar solo ending. By far the AOL internet feed unedited was the way to go on this today.

Will video of pink floyd and the other bands at live8 be available freely online anywhere?

MTV and VH1 showed Live 8 footage from 12-8pm.

Meanwhile, BET was showing the Top 50 Dirty South videos. Great job by BET.

I think you can purchase some of the performances on the Live 8 website.

In other words, they'll be "free" in a few hours.

I think they could end the poverty of at least one country if all those artists simply all just downgraded from first to coach on their flights and sent that over to Africa.
