Just about the best one day match ever. Whats going to happen to Baseball when the as usual, uninformed, government oppressed people of the US discover the roots of their game is infinately better than theirs.

The Australia/South Africa world cup cricket semi-final in 1999 was a superior match. Not enough at stake today to be a classic.

Baseball fans will sleep easy if cricket is the main threat to the sports popularity.

it was a fantastic game. it's a shame it wasn't decided on wickets lost, as england would have won.

at it's best, one-day cricket is just about the most exciting game out there.

being a kiwi i think the greatest games have been our (occassional) victories over australia. but it's funny how the best games ever all involve the aussies getting beaten - which is the one failing of that game against south africa.

From your posts I get the impression you know alot more than you let on. You have hit on the sole reason Cricket is such a great game, while drinking, nobody gives a fuck.
