I still don't understand why they are allowed to advertise here. Aside from the money they pay of course.
The other advertisers are all top 25 books minus 2 or 3 who are top 50. Where would any of you rank mybookie, assuming there are about 500 books out there? Does anyone think they are in the top 50? 100? 250?

The one thing that seperates this site from the site across the street is not promoting trashy books like BetUS and Royal. I wish they would take a similar stance against MyBookie until they have proven themselves.

I recently met with the owner of MyBookie/Betcom and their new baby, NINE.com.
I expect BIG things from this company in the near future, so let the mocking begin and I'll be back in a year to bump this thread back to the top...
I have lots ot respect for VISIONARIES, and I consider their main guy to be one...
Also, Covers is very strict on who they allow to advertise on their site and betcom is one of their sponsors...

I think they have made some great moves and hires recently.
BUT, books should not be allowed to advertise on the most viewed watchdog site in the industry based on potential in my opinion. They have a terrible history to this point and if it were based on the FACTS and not their potential, this book would be considered trash up to this point.
Just my opinion though. Looking forward to seeing you at the bash. :toast:

Look at the quality of sports books on covers and you will see what I mean..

They have a great list that I believe others should try and follow instead of accepting lower level and riskier books...

Covers does a great job of allowing advertisers that suit their member base. Those are mainly squares and recreational players.
This site has much more of a serious player core. BoDog, Sportsbook.com, VIP, etc does not work well for a lot of posters here.
While every book on Covers is without a doubt financially stable, I don't think they are the top books online. But again, it depends on what type of player you are.
I have a feeling your new site will be more geared towards Covers type visitors and I think that is where you can (and will) promote those type of books. But why here? MyBookie will boot and limit most players here. I think they are making as big a mistake as you guys are for letting them advertise here. They are attracting the type of players they don't even want.
