Going to Vegas on Wednesday to play in the WSOP (crosses fingers) and was told to check out this place. Anybody been there before?

Hugo's is LVs best "value" gourmet room

A nice writeup in the book "The Odds" by Chad Millman. I love Hugos.

Classic quote from that Millman book: "the chef thinks Belgian endive is a tropical disease."

Thanks guys. I heard the service is incredible there. My lady friend is coming....I assume it has a good atmosphere? Also, what kind of coin should I expect to drop?

Numerous people including myself consider it the best restaurant in town. It doesn't have the ridiculous prices of the strip gourmet rooms or the "name" chef places either.

Thanks all. Made a reservation for this place and Mon Ami Gabi. I like the fact Hugo's is off the strip so it forces us to go to another part of the city.
