Tough day yesterday losing the 5 unit game with Philly. First time this season that the Braves come back from 3 runs down. That's life

getting off the boston play. Texas has had Boston's number in Texas and this kid for Texas pitched a gem against the Angels last week. Going with the hot hand.

i actually have increased my boston play to 5 units...rodriguez has been around awhile and was nothing special in cleveland...texas has way too much distraction going on with the kenny rogers stuff and i like boston in a slugfest.

Thanks AC, and believe me it is hard to get me off of one of my selections. Just too many reasons for me to like Texas in this spot. The deciding factor, as shallow as it could be, is that MFG is on the other side, and I respect his opinion especially on games with Texas involved as he is from the area and has proven himself many times in this spot.

I know that MFG likes Texas and I saw that too. I had been going back and forth about whether or not to hedge Boston off but because I am doing well for the day (lets hope Philly doesn't give up 10 in the 9th and that St. louis keeps the lead and scores some more runs) I decided to up the Boston bet after looking at Rodriguez closer.

Lets get the cubs. I have 7 units on them and 3 on the minn/ana under

TX looked great to start and not again until the 9th. But it worked out. I'm glad we got this one. I would of felt bad had we lost, but now I'm very happy for both of us. I saw a lot of people here on the Sox and this one could of gone either way.
