Yet, another question about online casinos....

Do you think they bait you in when you play for smaller amounts. That is, let you win a great deal of hands at a smaller amount? But when you go to larger hands they tighten up the RNG?

I have experienced this in the past, although the sample size is small, there does seem to be a bit off when playing for bigger stakes.

today, I tried the 724 casino, playing 9/6 JoB. Did well at the 25c level, so I decided to not risk my luck at the $1 level :103631605

You are already playing at a disadvantage, why should they try to rip you off any more?

All of these claims are with sample size that are way too small to mean anything

i've played at an online casino a grand total of twice...once playing $5 roulette, i stopped after 8 losses in a row. second time, just put $100 on black and won. count myself ahead and realize i'd rather have control on what i do with my money

Online casinos are only for newbie internet gamblers and some senior citizens. No one will win at internet blackjack or slots and EVEN the few who have won big were not payed. They were told that they cheated the casinos, this has happened on at least 5 occassions

DG, not stupid at all. You get a steamer that starts small, and is winning. They up their bets, and start losing, then they start chasing, before they no it, their balance is "0".

I could see this happening online, nothing suprises me. Back 2 years ago, I made a fortune online, today it is tough to do with high roll overs and other things.

My buddy hit the RF at Riverbelle plaing $5($25 a hand) was paid in less than a week after verifying some personal info. You just have to pick and choose carefully, just like when choosing a sportsbook.

and in fact I didn't say you can win. I said there is no incentive for them to cheat because the odds are already heavily stacked against you

The damage to an online casino's reputation if found cheating would not be worth the "extra" edge they could get by cheating.

yes ..its a program once it knows that you will double down after a few losses or even triple down it will let you win a few then BAMMO>>>>>>>> bye bye $$...I really find it hard to believe anyone wins in the LONG term at them

Well maybe i used to have a vested interest in that book shall we say, but no more.

I never got that pager, just got a $100 in my neteller account instead. I do still have 2 sports pagers that still work, but they not the sportsnow pagers. My sportsnow pagers stopped working when they switched frequencies

The problem is, one will never 100% know. There is tons of incentives for them to cheat. BJ has a very small house ADV. if they cheat, their hold is better. A few years back a few buddies and I came to the conclusion MG(microgaming) cheats, we had a HUGE sample size. To think online casinos don't is naive.

You failed to mention what game you are playing?

Video Poker you can calculate the machine's payout % by summing each hand payout times hand odds. Or look the Wizard of Odds payout table charts.

Slot machines are configured with different payout % and payout characteristics. A $0.25 machine may have a 105% payout, and will pay mostly on small/middle symbols, and little upside. A $1 machine may payout only 95%, with most that payout happening on the high symbols and progressive.

A game of blackjack or other table games will not vary at all by stake -- except by variation in game rules. Example, a low-stakes table may let you hit split aces and double any cards, a high-stakes table may stand split aces, double only 10 and 11.

I personally don't think you will ever find a slot machine real or virtual, anywhere in the world with a 105% payback. Virtual slot paybacks I would guess to be in the 80's. Almost as bad an investment as Keno.
