Were they a legitimate site, or just used to extort money from legit players using the SHRINKS popularity?

Seriously, I dont know what to believe about SHRINK, never really liked him, got a bad vibe from him from day one. To me, he does not seem honest, but I am only judging from what I have seen around the forums.

Odds on the next mod to leave within the next 3 months.

BUCS -300
DANTE -500
FISH -800
WIL -1100

I think those odds are backwards...I would have Bucs as the favorite to leave and Wil the favorite to stay. Just my opinion.

You are really out of touch with the offshore world if you think Shrink had anything to do with Pan Am though.

bigbet has a good point or suspicion about betpam. Too many lies were told about who they were and what they were for them to begin with good intentions on being a top class sportsbook.

Bigbet, that is total bull, Shrink was as much more than upset when BetPanAm went south. There is no way he was part of any conspircy to defraud players at that book. You are waaaay off base here, BetPanAm just didn't know how to do what they set out to do. They tried to succeed with an operating model that doomed them to failure (in hindsight).

You need to remember SHRINKS "so called" profession, if that is true. Was he, or is he a practicing psychologist? If so, he knows how the mind works, and trust me, uses that to his advantage.

He loves what is going on here, more publicity for him.

Then again, maybe I am wrong. One will never know, but for what I have read, I could careless for the guy truthfully.

And yes, the odds are backwards. BUCS, FISH, or Dante will be moving on VERY soon.

could be WAAAAAAAAAAAY off, but who knows. money does evil things to people. I have seen him smear bluegrass, ROYAL, and MVP, both are still paying today, then promote books like blue marlin(robby is the greatest, and would never stiff anyone(from the shrink) and panama, both tanked.

and this is just from the couple years i have been around.

where there is money, there is trouble. and it there is greed, there is more trouble.

again, i may be wrong, but the way everything was done, just seems a bit off, but if i worked for the RX i would see it your way too.

Working for the Rx. has nothing to do with this thread topic. The BetPanAm situation started before I was hired, plus it has nothing to do with my job now. I am telling you the book went south becasue of it's operating model, a subject that has been discussed Ad Nauseam on a half dozen web sites. To back track now and say Shrink was in on some conspiricy is more than far fetched.

Natrually you are entitled to your opinion, but you are wrong to say what you did.

Maybe I am wrong, but from an outsider looking in, who knows. From what I have read over the past few days is unreal.

No, shrink wasn't in 'cahoots,' but he got paid an enormous amount of money to pimp them, and he did so without shame. His absolutely ridiculous lovefest with this brand new book was sickening. Even more sickening was his utter silence as all the other so-called 'watchdogs' at least *tried* to do something. It was his lowest moment, and that's saying something. For somebody that has been around the block, like shrink, it's silly to say that they 'fooled' him. He just ignored the warning signs and not only put them up, but endlessly fondled them.

Talking about ' unseen in the industry lightening fast payouts' before they opened their doors. And just go from there.

While I agree...there were others so to just point at Shrink is irresponsible. I remember SBR hyping them as well.

Yes, sbr and major also. And some other smaller sites. But nowhere near what happened here. Not even close, and believe me, John(sbr) and major would never accuse me of sticking up for them(and i'm not), but i've never seen a blitz about any sportsbook on any site that could compare to that. *That* was something totally different. And even worse was the total silence from shrink when everything fell apart. No attempt to help anybody. Nothing.

Roberto is a tool, but I am pretty certain that nobody at all would have gotten paid without his help. I know that majior was owed money and somehow blames Roberto that *he* didn't get paid, but at least some of the smaller players got paid because of Roberto. Whatever. The point is that shrink couldn't be bothered. And no, I never played there, for obvious (to me ) reasons.

Clipman , whose ghost are you?

So far I have been Shrink's, Noreaga's, and "a mod". Not sure why it is so hard to believe I am a first time poster, but I take it as a compliment. The Noreaga comparison wouldn't be a compliment, except it came from Identity. :103631605

By the way things are going here though, I'll be at your place in no time if I am welcome.

No ones remembers the fact that Shrink and others created and illusion that Costa Rican books were not safe and Panama was the next big thing and the safe place to send your money unlike Costa Rica. Needless to say the suckers who dont know the interworkings of this industry were fleeced hard.
