Never played on an exchange, anyone care to give me the Cliff Notes version on procedures etc....

I am going to take advantage of that $96/$96 DougJ refers to daily (lol). Though, I think it said $90/$90 (am i wrong)

100% bonus is an excellent opportunity to try it with just a little money....

I am not very technically inclined, so take my opinion for what it's worth...I find the exchange much more difficult than placing a normal wager.

I am honestly baffled by this, especially since you seem to know your stuff in this industry....

if you told me you found BETFAIR confusing I could understand that as it trades with decimal pricing, but when it comes to MANSION they use USA style VIG (you have to click to make it such)....

___________________________________________________

Basically you will see an offer on Both sides, Say TEAM A -140 & TEAM B +130.

Now Say you want TEAM B +133.

You simply CLICK on the +130. Then you manipulate the odds so they read +133. then you click enter.

3 seconds later, your offer will appear on the board as -133. now sombody can click on the -133 button. If they do not ammend the odds. & bet it, your bet will be filled.

You can check your HISTORY & it shows your 'OFFERS' (which are unfilled bets) aswell as your 'Undecided' (bets that were filled but not graded yet) as well as your 'Decided' (Bets that are filled aswell as Graded).

You can always cancel any Bet as long as it is not FILLED & sitting in the 'OFFERS' section.

I am much more knowledgeable about the industry than anything to do with computers.

:lolBIG:

That opposite pricing (enter +133 when you want -133) got me for a little while at first. The "undecided" and all that threw me for a loop for a while too.

While it is definitely not a big deal, I still found it to take a little getting use to compared to making straight bets against the books.

Check out Queensland vs New South Wales in the NRL right now.

New South Wales is being offered at -166.

Queensland is being offered at +132.

You can take either of those bets by simply clicking on the number. But if you want Better, Say +155 on Queensland, you simply enter the amount you want to bed & enter in the ODDS you want.

Then all of a sudden, on the other side, the -166 will disappear & -155 will appear (which is the bet you just put up there).

If someone comes along & likes -155. & they click & bet on it. Then your + 155 is Filled!!!!!!!!!

actually this is incorrect, perhaps that is why you are confused. If you want +133, you simply click on the + side, manipulate the odds to +133. ***YOU ENTER THE ODDS EXACTLY AS YOU WANT THEM***

After you enter it, it appears on the screen as -133.... simply because that is what you are offering for someone else to bet on. If you check the 'Offers' section of your SUMARRY however it appears there as +133. It only appears as -133 on the trading screen because if you are wanting (& have entered) +133, obviously, for it to be filled, someone out there needs to like the -133 option.

thanx guys....so is the offer $96/$96?

they do have some kind of offer for new accounts, but trust me Sherman, if you enjoy betting bases you have to open an account there. Not necessarilly for the exchange, but rather the sportsbook which has pricing you will salivate over.

Step 1: Open a New MANSION Member Account
Register as a new MANSION Member. Click the "Register" button in the top right of this page or the "Click Here to Join" button below.
Step 2: Deposit over GBP 50 (or currency equivalent) in your MANSION account.
Deposit a minimum of GBP 50 (or currency equivalent) in your new MANSION Member account via any one of our deposit methods.
Step 3: Place a bet with MANSION
To qualify for an Account Credit of up to GBP 50, you must place your first bet with MANSION within 30 days of opening your account. The promotional credit will be issued to your account only upon posting of the result of the event of your first wager. Qualifying bets may be placed on either MANSION Sportsbook where we offer a variety of bet types on major sports, or on MANSION Exchange where Members can take advantage of bigger bets offered at extremely competitive prices.
Step 4: Claim your Bonus Credit
Once the event of your first MANSION sports wager has officially settled, simply send an email to customerservice@mansion.com with “50 Free” in the subject line and your MANSION Nickname in the message. Our customer service representatives will verify your qualifying wager and credit your account for an amount equal to your first MANSION sports bet up to GBP 50 (or currency equivalent). Upon verification a credit will be added to your MANSION account in your designated account currency at the current exchange rate. To the right is a list of GBP 50 currency equivalents provided for reference purposes.

AMEN!

They are my favorite book. I can't see them falling from their either unless this millionaire owner suddenly goes belly up. I think they have done an incredible job and will push Pinnacle for that end of the market.

90/ 90 now, USD must have dropped against GBP

Using book is much like any other book. Accepting offer on exchange is easy, numbers below line tell you how much is available at a given price.

I rarely make offers, but often accept them. The problem is you don't know if it will get filled. I prefer getting best line wherever and taking it now.

Prices often trade very close, like -130/ +127, frequently beating Pinny or any other book. Liberal free NT is nice too, you'll like them !

I always have two windows open, one for the book and one for the exchange. Much of the time the exchange beats the book's MLB price by a penny or two.

Sherman: Here's a good experiment for you. Take a full card ( 15 games) this will give you 60 straight bets, 15 each home/ away/ ov/ un. Check Pinny price and Man-x price on each about 30 minutes to game time. I'll bet Man-X has the better price on a good 75% of them.
