seeing as most RX activities are on the 20th, I figure I will just lounge by the pool with my sunglasses on the 19th & 21st & enjoy the eye candy.

what are the best swimming pools in Las Vegas?

I hear some let you play blackjack from the water?

some also charge a cover fee for you to enjoy the pool for the day?

details appreciated/

One of the few nice things about the Flamingo was their pool and I believe at the Hard Rock you can play blackjack by the pool. However prices and stuff I can't help cause honestly i've been to vegas many times but not once have I stepped into the pool area.

I used to regularly sneak into the GN pool, best one downtown. Mirage is better, but better security.

For eye candy the Hard Rock is king.I would put Mandalay Bay 2nd.Ceasars has or had a topless pool, don't know if they still do.

When I was there in April CP still had an "european" topless area.

I just got back from Vegas on the red-eye this morning...thank god this workday is over...but some of my favorites are:

1 - Mandalay Bay (real sand and a wave pool)
2 - Flamingo (nice layout, pretty big)
3 - Venetian (nice cabanas and big, but kinda plain and square)

I have heard good things about the Hard Rock and the Palms but haven't had the pleasure

The RIO was great and they would just let you walk in, local strippers were hanging out during the day. I remeber like 4 or 5 differant pools.

I forgot about the Palms.I've never been to the pool there but I would guess it would be loaded with eye candy.

Never been to Palms either but I'm sure your right.....I used to live at Paradise Bay next to the Hard Rock...I loved going for the run up Harmon then a right (skell zone..lol...run faster) and back to Trop .... and then a dive in the HR pool. This was way back in 1997 before the new tower but it was a great place to hang out....maybe some tennis at Flamingo before dark..cool pool there too - but hot-no breeze.

Hmmm ... I wonder what does Ceaser's topless pool cost? ... Bet it's an arm and a leg.

I am actually suprised you should say that cauz, last time I was at the GN, I peered out into the swimming pool area & it looked like CRAP. certainly not very luxurious.

Also, IN GENERAL, if you are not staying at a particular hotel.... are you still allowed to use the POOL over there? for a FEE lets say?

so it seems the best are

1) RIO (is this the actual name of the hotel? rio?)
2) Mandalay bay
3) Hard Rock
4) Venetian.
5) Palms

Do these hotels let NON GUESTS go in & use the pool area? Do some charge a Fee to use the Pool area? How exactly does all of this work?

At the top resorts if you are not a guest you are not allowed at the pool.

But ...

If they have Black Jack tables at the pool Nevada Gaming Regulations prohibit you from being restricted to any gaming areas, so .... if you wanted to eyeball the topless gals at Wynn, just tell Security you want to play Black Jack.
