But now 10 days later we have a tie in the standings....:monsters-

Just to be clear, I assume by pass you are refering to who will have the better record at the end of the season.

If that's a correct assumption then I will, as stated above, take that bet.

Wow...I'll take that bet if he won't.

There has never been a more hyped pitching staff than the Cubs. Their bullpen sucks, Kerry Wood has never done anything other than strike batters out, Prior has yet to stay healthy...this team has no offense outside of Derek Lee.

Clip: Astros for a $100

Duck: Cubs for a $100

Best record at seasons end.

I agree if you do.

W/ Derek Lee out it could get really ugly for the Cubs...
Clip Joint take the wager if you want...tried doing that w/ another poster and he bailed on me. But it is very winnable...heck the Astros are only 6 games back of the Wild Card Race.

I'll take the Astros pitching staff and bullpen any day of the week over the Cubs. Offensively, they both suck.

I'll take the bet if we send the money to a 3rd person on here that is honest and a long time poster. I have seen what happens with people on here when they lose bets without putting the money up first.

I'll take up to $1000. Just let me know.

Duck sounds alot like DELL DUDE! He has 33 posts and just joined last week. You would need him to send the money to a 3rd party before i would bet against him

I remember Hache Man was going to hold money for something like this before. I am sure we could get him to do it. He is a well respected poster.

Hey, dude, you're getting a cell! Benjamin Curtis, the 22-year-old actor who portrays "Steven," the Dell Guy, in those bothersome computer commercials, was arrested late last night (2/9) on a marijuana possession charge, The Smoking Gun has learned. According to police, Curtis was nabbed after cops spotted him buying a "small bag of marijuana" from a dealer on Manhattan's Lower East Side (at Ludlow and Rivington for you Gothamites). Curtis, who lives in lower Manhattan, was charged with criminal possession of marijuana, while Omar Mendez, the 19-year-old alleged dealer, faces drug sale and possession charges. The misdemeanor complaint filed against the pair is below. (2 pages)
