match-ups favor Byrd in this one slightly, taking the 1.5 runs for
alittle insurance. Byrd vulnerable to some left handed power will
only have to worry about J. Jones who is in the midst of a
small slump. Santana is very vulnerable to right handed power
and with Guerrero @ bat 4 times, just could be the difference
in this one.

Byrd

Byrds pitching performance on 6/20 vs. Rangers was a true
work of art CG 6 hitter 1 ER 0 walks and 4 SO. Byrd is truly
back from 2003 injury, last three starts are as impressive as
anyones this season.

Marlins Burnett -1.5 +105

Marlins killing Ohka this year. Matchup overwhelmingly in
Marlins favor tonight, don't have any reservations in laying
a run/half here.
Burnett basically unhittable against lefties and Brewers not having
alot to be scared of from either side of plate.

lefthanded Redman has had alot of success vs. this
lefthanded hitting lineup.

What BS? I hope you were not refering to me. Jake would agree with me himself that I was not trying to cause trouble. Think before you start accusing people of starting BS and re read the thread.

My first post was saying that I think he has a great pick on the ANGELS and my second post I said I think he brings alot to the table and encouraged him to keep posting his plays. It dont take me long to figure out if someone is a good capper. And Jake is a good capper. All I said was to keep all his picks in one thread. If I would not have said it first, I promise you someone else would have done it.

Imagine if every capper in this forum made a new thread for everypick.

D'backs Vazquez +1.5 +105

Carpenter has been spectacular, but D'backs just could have enough
lefthanded power and average to keep this close enough for Vazquez
who is capable a pitching stellar games on occassion.
Taking the runs with the home team for a little insurance.
