Ken Macha has ordered his players not to show up before 4 p.m. on Wednesday. Macha said his team always struggles in the second game of an East Coast trip, so he wants them well rested. There is a $450 fine for an early arrival.

Boy...that $450 fine would hold me back. That is like $0.04 for most of the world.

I thought the amount was pretty funny too. Reminded me of the time we had a bar tab for that much...that was only like spending 25 cents for the big leaguers i was with.

Coughlin, coach of the NY Giants, got into hot water for fining players who arrived early, and took a lot of heat over it.

How much are their fines for missing signs, forgetting the count or number of outs, etc?
