MLB – SERIES : Wagers on series are based on the FIRST 3 GAMES PLAYED of each series. Neither team can play another opponent between scheduled games. If one of the first three games gets postponed, all wagers stand (ACTION). If less than 3 games are played, the team with the advantage is the winner of the series.

Thanks.

You mean if it's a 4-game series then only the first 3 count? That sounds pretty weird and will probably mislead some people, no? Otherwise it looks ok.

As long as people read the rules its fine. Most people don't read the rules. They will not even realize its a 4 game series. So when the series ends 2-2, they'll want a refund.

I have got burned by that one, not knowing the rule. However, it was in writing, and I ate it. Nothing wrong there.

Considering the guys that play at your shop, does it matter?

if that is the rule, the only series offered should be 3 game series.

no two or four game series should be offered.

That is exactly what happened to me. 4 game series, I lost 2 out of first 3. Ended 2-2, thought I had a push. Called and complained when graded a loss. Was told to read rules. Oops, there it was, an expensive lesson learned, and does affect the wager's potential greatly if the Ace goes in game #4. I am a bit confused on the rainout, team that has advantage means.

Its in the rules no doubt, what surprises me is the rule itself.....

A 4 game series that ties is graded after 3...thats either dumb or just very odd.

That is what I thought, very odd rule to comeback and bite me. Only bit me once. Problem is, it defies common sense. You would think a 2-2 tie would be graded a tie. I was so pissed, at the rule and myself I quit betting them for a year.

Yeah, it defies common sense, thats why I have a problem with it. My friend didnt make a big deal out of it but asked me why it was done that way. I for one dont like it or agree with it but oh well.

OF, you're probably 11 by now, dont kid us ;)
