Cleveland Pitcher has obviously been struggling from the start. After getting away with 1 run in the 4th, the Coach continues to use him in the 5th. Suddenly after giving up 4 runs the penny drops and the rocket scientist relieves the dope. Kind of hard to convince anyone Baseball is good to bet on with Amateurs like this making the dicisions.

Baseball is 162 game Season. Managers MUST give their starters some slack or they will Kill their bullpen. Not to mention Major League Bullpens are loaded with guys who are not good enough to start. Especially the guy that would come in in the 5th inning, nearly all suck.

Certainly yanking pitchers who have given up ONLY one run through 4 innings would cost most managers their jobs.

Sometimes guys suck through a couple innings then settle down. But you're right there are times you can see it coming, but Managers just can't Manage that way through 162 games. You'll see it in the Post Season, where each game is a premium.

Exactly right. Winbet seems to think every game is the 7th game of the World Series. This is exactly why it was wrong for Pete Rose to wager on his own team. You don't manage for the long haul like you should or at least very tempting not to.

Funny though, I'm watching The Sox game now and Chan Ho Park has been cruising has a 2-0 lead. Every ball has been hit hard in this 6th inning and Sox have a dinger and two doubles and tied it 2-2.

It's pretty obvious Chan Ho has lost it, and if I bet on the Rangers I Definately would have want him pulled before it got tied.

Your Pete Rose point is right on.

Tek just singled 3-2.
