ON THE MEN'S PGA TOUR.

Woody Paige of Around The Horn guarantees she will make the cut. I say no chance in hell. The books have her as a huge longshot.

Feel free to update.

I've played the course, she has the length but it is a shot makers course with lots of elevation changes, tight fairways and undulating greens. Also very demanding to walk (but at 15 I doubt that's an issue).

I would be very surprised to see her make the cut and I REALLY hope she doesn't! She does not belong there and I am almost ashamed that John Deere would stoop to this to sell tickets and generate interest.

But really the PGA Tour is behind this. It's a TPC Course and they will be changing the date away from the week preceeding the British Open in a year or so. It's all about getting the course on TV.

To qualify as a woman is one thing but to be given a sponsors exemption is an obvious publicity ploy. I doubt she gets a "invitation" to the PGA championship.

BTW - Altough she is obviously very talented, SHE HASN"T WON SHIT!

You are correct she has won nothing

Morgan Pressel is a better player and has more class than Wie ever will

Wie is a amatuer as much as LeBron was in his senior year, where do they get the $$ to criss cross the country

Wie's Daddy has his hand open for any deal possible

Pressel is mentally tougher than Wie

Sony was her home course

Let Wie play BethPage same setup as US Open she be lucky to break 82

Media loves her and they shove her down our throats like she is the saving grace for the LPGA

She has won nothing at all

You don't have to like her, but to say Pressel is the more talented player is insane and makes you look like a moron. You might want to get a ghost to post nonsense like that. Makes your book look bad.

not a strong putter, if she cant putt now while a kid, is it going to get easier?

I agree she is a very good player. so are all pro golfers. she has a lot of media hype she has not earned. when in position to win US Open in final round she collapsed with an 82 or so.

Pressel hung in their all day on Sunday. Showed a lot of toughness. Nobody expected her to stick around the top of the leader board.

That was one tourney, plus to show your ignorance on the subject, Wie isn't even a pro

I know she isnt a pro didnt mean to imply she is. point I was making is she can dominate amateurs because she is better. once she plays with the lady pros there is no gap for her to exploit. media cant help her then, she has to produce.

hasnt done it yet.

Yeah, she sort of reminded me of Goosen in his final Open round this year... get a clue guys, she's the real deal.

Chris @ Olympic,

Does a USGA title count for anything?
Does finishing 2nd in the LPGA Championship behind the best female golfer in the world count for anything?
And I hate break it to you but 99.99 of the male golfers in the world couldn't break 82 at Bethpage Black under US Open conditions, even some PGA Tour Card holders.

All of you Wie bashers think about this.... at her age she has done better in PGA events than Tiger did... against men. Lighten up on her ass, your ignorance of the game is showing.
