Pick Posting Question

Just wondering why when myself or anyone posts picks/plays, there seem to be different "rules" from sport to sport.

For example, in Baseball if I pick the Yankees -124 for 2 units, everyone is cool with it and agrees or disagrees.

However if I post Green Bay +3 for 3 Units and nothing else, I ( and anyone it seems) get bashed for not backing up the pick with detailed analysis, stats and facts.

I understand why others and I like to hear a posters reasoning for the positions they are taking, but what is wrong for just posting picks and if needed keep your record posted for all to see?

Luck

Posted record is number 1. I don't really care what a poster is saying about a bet, if he is a proven winner. Most of the "writings" are usually nonsense, just a text you can find from reading match previews. I don't understand what is a point to type an analysis if there are no news to tell.

I agree wtih fceless,,,, writeups are not necessary,,,, HOWVER, I assume the reason for that is because Bases is everyday and extremely exhuasting, where foots is Once a week (kindof) Plenty of time to put a small writeup with a pick

thats just a guess,

.............I think write-ups also leave the door open to debate among all the posters here who may have diff , and valid , reasons for betting the other side if they don't agree w/ your posted pick , which can lead to second guessing and the 'ol "paralysis by analysis" syndrome ............I know in the past I have changed my picks in foots based on valid critiques by posters I respect, and find myself on the wrong end ...............If your 'capping is solid , then your record will reflect that ............as Bill Parcells said ........" you are what your record says you are ".....................
