It used to be that ESPN brought us sports news and reported on the happenings in the sports scenes.

It seem now that ESPN desn't really report much of anything. What they do is at all costs try and insert themselves into the sports scenes.

They no longer report the sports news, they try and make the sports news.

It's like a contest between Dan Patrick, Stuart Scott, Steven (asshole) Smith, Woody Paige etc. etc. etc. to see who can MAKE the news and insert themselves into a story.

Just a personal pet peeve. Sorry to rant.

ESPN News was developed for straight news. Sportscenter has been a variety show for a few years now.

Atleast its still better than MTV who basically quit playing music years ago.

BINGO! 100% DEAD ON ACCURATE and EVERYTHING i have been saying for some time now

I can't watch SportsCenter anymore - it is flat out UNwatchable

Looking back on things I am now somewhat happy I don't work there anymore because I'd hate to be associated with a show that has REALLY goe FAR downhill - and fast!
