We have come to a situation over the last few Months where posters have posted their grievances by saying this will be their last post, others have posted in an attempt to make change to the Forum. In all instances, the posters have come back to post, sometimes with sad immediateness. The ones who have not come back have been lost to oblivion and not remembered.
Being a Forum of sharp posters,allegedly, its obvious nobody should go down the road of self banishment, although we can hope some will take this course. Therefore can we as a group, decide, when someone throws a wobbler, to ban that person for good. That way the task will be quick, instead of this long drawn out saga we get with every poster who deems themselves important. Personally, any poster who writes of his termination to this Forum should be put in a "stocks" Forum, where everyone can throw Cabbage posts at them, that way they will be made aware of their own importance.
Of course the problem with "my last post" and then posting is , it gives the impression, "I am a will'o the wisp" and other Forumites being of the opinion, this geezer is a true dope, therefore ridiculing him hence forth. So, can we as a whole, dispense with the heart rendering good-byes.
