show, The World Poker Tour.THE GROUP have made initial contact and
submitted a proposal for $700 million cash yesterday to Steve
Lipscomb, President and CEO of WPT Enterprises, Inc.
As the Godfather of poker, Doyle Brunson is the games most popular
and iconic figure who wants to continue expanding his own brand and
identity by owning the most popular poker program on television. Once
negotiations and the deal have been signed off, DoylesRoom will become
the official sponsor of the WPT with co-branding on all tables and
merchandise. In addition, the WPT's newly released online poker site
will be merged WITH THE DOYLE BRUNSON POKER NETWORK.
