SSI's HOME TEAM SYSTEM RESULTS

SSI, I tracked, but did not play (bummer) again for Wednesday. Playing it my way, which is sometimes playing a favorite -1 and getting less money back than the full RL and also playing small dogs straight instead of the Alt.RL, the system went 11-4 and +11.32 units! That puts the system for the last 5 days (after a -10.91 unit day 1) at +3 units. A nice comeback.

Playing it the way that I think you would have with those small dogs on the Alt RL and playing the full RL for the better value, you would have also been 11-4 yesterday, but for +13.14 units!! Gotta like it. Of course I would have liked it better if I had actually played the games!

thx moe, but do you have the w/l record over mon-thurs (4 days) only.. i think the units (the way that i play), should be up close to (+10 units)..

SSI, I don't have the info with me. I know that 1 of the 4 days, your way was 1 unit less and the other 3 you were approx. 5.5 units better. The number that I believe it was going into day 5 was a -3.7, where I was at -8.35. That would make it after yesterday at +9.44 units for the 5 day period. Keep in mind that I was assuming how you would play games more aggressively such as doing -2.5 instead of only -2 getting back small returns and playing RRL instead of taking a small dog straight. OK Moe, here is what i have..

started playing on June 2nd.. record for next 32 days were:
197-229 (+41.26 units)

then didnt play monday-thursday of this week but record was:
28-30 (+9.45 units)..

so overall im going with this data..

36 day record:

225-259 (+50.71 units)

not too shabby for all 1 unit plays and to be 34 games under (.500)..

thx hustler, but i think ive got it caught up..

it was monday-thurs this week..

i play moneyline first as a dog (there are a few select exceptions).. but i try and warn -- if anyone is following along. in case of an exception, id play the alt runline for the bigger payoff..

i lay -1.5 next on any favorite, and still have them as a dog..

i then lay -2.5 runs in the rare games with the very large favorites..

the juice payback is the big kicker...

SSI, Question for you: I printed off today's games and was wondering how you would play a few of them? Houston -2/+123 or -2.5/+158?
San Fran ML +119 or AltRL -1.5/+246?
Tampa ML +110 or AltRL -1.5/+220?
Wh Sox RL/+127 or -2/+174?
Angels RL/+114 or -2/+155?

I usually play it safe and drop from a -1.5 to an even -1, but in these situations the value is so strong that I would be tempted to go up for the value? Let me know what you think. After a few more days of tracking, I might get back on board with the system. Don't worry, I'll warn you first!!! :lolBIG:

SSI, That's a nice size bankroll to be working with! Do you play a lot on football? That's what I prefer to play but will play on anything if I feel I have some insight or advantage. That's what's so great about the Rx! Great cappers and plenty of insight from all different angles!

the reason TB is playing detroit and sf is playing stl, big difference in opponents.. TB is capable of breaking out.. I liked the bigger payback on clemens..... Col is good enough at home in that park for the alt rl (look at yesteday).. thats basically it..

i try and flat bet year round with what im working with.. i prefer 1.5% usually but with the amount of games -- for this system, im sticking closer to 1%...

its taken a long time to build that bankroll and roughly half of it (belongs to 3 investors).....

i have built it all (my part) from gambling, started with a very small bankroll and have made it grow, i could touch other assests and make it really impressive but im giveing myself 2 more years, to see how much i can make it grow.. I thought i could get there by october 06, and by get there -- i mean doing nothing but this with a few rental properites to look after... dont know if i will make it by then,, i need a 50-100k bankroll to get -- to where i want to be..

hopefully this will continue to work year around (mlb and nhl) and i wont have to deal with football or hoops, if that were the case.. (wishful thinking) but the first 36 days have proven that its very possible..

I know you're right but sometimes you have to wonder? The first day I played the system and it goes 2 - 13??? What's the odds of that? That is gambling though. We could use some of the rain that the East coast has been getting. I live off Lake Michigan and we've had a few hours of rain in the past 3 weeks. Yesterday it was 75 and sunny. Today it should be a few degrees warmer. Hard to believe it is summer and that cool out? Have a great weekend! Gotta get back to work!

Moe, if you play it again, dont tell me when (ha ha)..

I do have one correction from card above, i played Pitt on the alt runline and not ML for a payback of (+2.20), going for the nicer payback..

doesnt make it right or wrong, just my choice..

SSI, That was what I had put you down for originally. I think I have your mindset down for most of your plays? The tougher ones to figure out are the -2 or -2.5? I would play the even 2 and be content with a push instead of the half point loss for the smaller returns, but that's my thinking. If I played the system for a month or so and built up my bankroll and confidence, I could see myself stepping out on those as well!

what do you think of using this in the NHL? if it works for both, you could go year round with it..

your right about the -2.5, i go for the higher payout..

my decisions are usally based on the opponent and if its a high scoring team..

SSI, you are the role model for Money Management. If everyone would take your approch to managing money, there would be alot of rule changes by the sportsbooks.

You are a fine capper, but what really puts you in the 3% of people who make money is your MM.

I double what Choptalk said. I put myself in the 97% category. I have been getting better but I have limited time and that makes me a casual player. As for the NHL bets, I have never played an NHL game but I have bet on a few Championship series. I'll let you check that out if they ever have games again! My thought on the system with the NHL is that the home ice doesn't seem to be as much as an advantage as baseball or the NBA. I am saying that without any data backing me, but I remember too many playoff games in hockey going to the visitor? Am I correct in that? or am I just smok'n somethin?
