Unbelievable situation in Tampa. Nate Robertson hits Crawford on the first pitch after Polanco was beaned in the top of the 1st and without any warnings McClellan has just ejected Robertson after only one pitch making all bets good with Detroit up 4-0.
I saw Bud Black of KC ejected after throwing 4 pitches over Cleveland's Brett Butler's head back in '85 following a bean ball war the night before. This beats that for speed and without a warning unjust.
At least they didn't kick him out before the first pitch, those on the Tigers, myself included, would have been STEAMING having that happen with a 4-0 lead.
