Just played in a PP tourney with about 1200 players and finished in 37th....shit like that sucks! I'd rather finish in 1199!

I hardly ever complain about poker beats but I had every one imaginable tonight. A couple of hundred dollars later, I think I learned the lesson I managed to forget. The house always wins. I am convinced that many of these poker sites aren't on the square despite the rake. I'm so po'ed I uninstalled the poker room software and I'm getting my money out tomorrow. I think I'm through with poker in general online. When I say I had everything beat imaginable tonight I really mean it guys! :digit:

I think you guys are right. That is the worst part about playing in tournaments. playing for hours and coming away empty handed definatly stinks.

Ive become numb to the bad poker bets. Just continue to play well and not to go on tilt. As far as sports it's the same way, just less chances (20 games a day 2000 hands a day)

If Wash would have blown a 5 runs lead twice 5-0 and 8-3, i may have been in a place where they where slippers all day.

Is it possible of you to be so good as to post your plays. At least some good will then come from your bad luck:103631605

Online Poker

I'm finding the tables at the 3/6 and lower limits to be almost impossible to lose. It's not worth my time to play since I'm only making $10-$20 per hour, but it's "free money". Especially late at night, at cherry picked tables, in short handed games.

5/10 games and higher during the day? Uh........no. Tough to find all the morons, and things get hard.

Re: tourneys. Just won my first tourney out of 320 players,a speed tourney, and was forced into an all-in early in the big blind, where miraculously big slick appeared. I love the speed tourneys. The squares say it is all luck with the ridiculous blinds escalation, but there are key strategies based on that.

If you are losing at lower tables, don't blame the rake, don't blame the bad luck, don't blame the random number generator. Find someone good to watch your play, and I assure you he will spot huge holes in your game.

As sharp as you are, I'm surprised you aren't playing at the biggest tables making 500 bucks an hour.

I agree with you and I don't even consider myself an "poker guru". These guys raise and call everything also make bad bluffs at 3/6 and higher tables! But last night they were getting away with it in every possible way you can think of!Getting rivered is part of the game but how would you feel if you made the strategic move to a T and get beat over and over again doing it? Not just rivered either too. Every possible way you could get the shaft playing Texas hold 'em.

The last guy i'd question is Fezz but impossible to lose?? well maybe long term with the proper bankroll but on any given night you can lose your ass in a heartbeat...somedays (or in my case weeks..lol) you just cant buy a frickin break..

take this lil scenario from yesterday. 3/6 no-limit at poker stars. i dont play much ring game but ill kill some time there waiting on a tourney..i sit in and after a few hands a new player sits on my right. 1st hand i get 10/10. small raise 1 caller and the new guy come in...flop comes KKK...I GOT A FULL HOUSE! new guy immediately goes ALL IN! im like wat the frick???? he didnt even raise pre flop, damn hes got a K..1ST HAND AND THE FRICKER FLOPS 4 OF A KIND..SOB!!! i fold ,other guy folds and he shows 5-8..now im pissed.....next hand i get pckt 9's, coupla callers and the new guy again...flop comes 567..NEW GUY ALL-IN! SOB!! wat he's flopped a straight???? DAMN....i fold everybody else folds and he shows 10-3...ok now EVERYBODYS PISSED....VERY NEXT HAND...new guy goes ALL-IN preflop, well i got nothing so i fold, everybody else folds but 1 guy whos got a huge stack...HE calls...he flips KQs and the NEW GUY???? PCKT K'S !!!!!!!! if this was a live game i guarantee ya every player at the table would have jumped his ass and beat him senseless....lol 3 frickin hands and the guy has more than dbld his BR.....he calls us all some mexican sounding term for pussies and leaves!!! 2 huge bluffs and a pr of K's, he's up over a hundred bucks and splits......UR right FEZ id love to have doyle over my shoulder telling me what the hell to do in situations like this....you know what i think he'd say?????? I'LL BE A SUNBURNED SON OF A BITCH!!!

YOU KNOW WHAT I THINK?.....i think good players stay out of these games and only play against other good players..thats how they keep their sanity...which by the way im quickly losing mine

Good commentary but don't you see what he did.

First he went all-in on scary flop and showed you a bluff. Then he did it again.

Now he gets a class I hand and goes all-in before the flop. The whole table is on tilt so one guys calls to see pocket kings.

Having exhausted his strategy and made a pile of money he leaves and moves on to another table. Smart guy!

I believe those who play Poker shows the separation between many of us on here, as in who's patient, and who's not. No offense to you regular Poker Players (I play sometimes) , but feel it's a complete waste of time, lol. UNLESS......you're playing for a MASSIVE amount of money.....
