Re: tourneys. Just won my first tourney out of 320 players,a speed tourney, and was forced into an all-in early in the big blind, where miraculously big slick appeared. I love the speed tourneys. The squares say it is all luck with the ridiculous blinds escalation, but there are key strategies based on that.
If you are losing at lower tables, don't blame the rake, don't blame the bad luck, don't blame the random number generator. Find someone good to watch your play, and I assure you he will spot huge holes in your game.
