I was praying for a rain out by the sixth last night...lol.
Lets keep rolling.....Under 10 (E) in Texas/Toronto
Lefty vs lefty matchups are always something I like to look at.Rogers is going tonight at home after having a stellar outing on the road last time out.To put it simply hes been dominant at home. He's 5-1 w/ an era of 2.12 at home and has only allowed 2 HRs in 46 ip pitched there this year.Toronto has hit LHP well as of late but if Rogers comes out focused the BJs will struggle for runs. The Blue Jays are only avg. 4.4 rpg (batting .250) away from the dome. They will be w/o Hudson again (1-3 Under in games hes missed this year) making runs on the road that much more elusive.Texas absolutely blows vs LH pitching.Avg only 3.2 rpg and batting .240 vs LH starters, these numbers should give Downs some confidence. Two decent BPs (Tex 3.84 era/Tor 3.65 era) and Gorman BHP (63.4 strike%,273 ppg and only 5.1 bb/g) should help maintain the Under tonight as well.I think the whole wager lies in Rogers hands...if hes not sharp then were in trouble but hes been beat up by Toronto once this year already ,so maybe a little more motivation in this one.
BOL.
