Not the best movie ever, but great graphics and I think it is worth going to see.

I saw it and didn't care for it. I was really into it in the beginning but I thougt the last half was terrilbe.

Definitely worth seeing, even it only for the special effects.......

I saw it and it was pretty good - maybe 2.5 stars. What I didnt like was the focus on his children, the whole world is getting destroyed and i'm supposed to care what happens to his kids, I dont think so.

You're right, that was probably the only problem with the whole movie.

One other thing I didn't understand is the red "vine-like" things that were growing everywhere, supposedly from our blood. Just didn't get that part. The also should of explained toward the endind a little better on what happened to the Aliens,not just settled with the commentary that wasn't very clear in my opinion......

Like Hitman, I liked the first half. Then it fizzled. All of sudden, these invincable creatures from another world just start dying. Very anticlimactic.

Ooops. Hope I didn't ruin anything for anyone.

I liked the movie, but it had the moments that where it was a bit boring like the long focus on the kids, especially the son, whats with the son seemingly have died on the hill then shows up at the family house?

Saw it today with both of my kids. They liked it and I thought it was OK. Worth a look IMO

To answer your question. If you want to watch this stupid movie you must do it in the theatre. The effects are the only good thing about. The plot is brutal and predictable. How these big budget movies can always have such a ridiculous and horrible plot is amazing to me. If you saw that debacle called "the Day after Tomorrow" then use that as a gauge if you will like this movie. All in all, not worth seeing at all IMO.
