I'm with you! I think the format is 8 players to start and the top 4 advance and then the next 2? That would give us 14 at bats to get 70 HRs. I like those odds and definately would enjoy watching it more than having the under! Good luck to you.

I like the under 69.5

This park is deep to left and left-center, even with the fences being drawn in by 10ft 2 years ago. The wind is expected to blow in from left, making it even more difficult for the right-handed hitters. Also, the participants are not at the level of years past. Insert Pujols, D Lee, and ARod in place of Bay, Choi, IROD and you may have something.

Porkchop, Excellent points! I still can't figure how HSChoi got invited? I know he hit 3 HR in a game but come on! I'll be shocked if he hits 3 in the derby!

This ballpark is known for being a pitcher friendly park but this year it has been more of an offensive park with more balls flying out. With guys trying to hit it out with bp pitching, over seems to be the way to go. Imho, it will be close either way to the number. The bet for me would be on Carlos Lee of the Brewers to win it!

I think i'd go with Ortiz. the guy doesnt even hit the ball squarely a whole lot and still pushes 400 feet (look at some of the shots he hit vs. the O's, looked like high flys)
