What a dumbass, the HR's don;t carry over to the next round...instead he shoots his wadd there, and is guranteed to have nothing left for the next round

You shouldn't worry yet...all this does is get him into the next round. They start over at "0" after Round 1. He will probably be pretty tired.

I agree...he's a real longshot to win it now!

But you can't blame him for shooting his wad in round 1. First of all, this is a show for the fans, and boy, did he deliver! Second, these guys don't really care about winning so much as about looking good, and once again, did he look good! Third, this is baseball immortality, every year Abreu will be remembered at the All-Star game home run derby...until and unless this record is broken, which may be awhile!

I agree 100%!

I think it is great he was there to entertain rather than play a strategy and put himself in the best position possible to win it. This is an event for the fans and he put on a memorable show.

Oops. This and the Angles run lines. Try, have you ever considered taking bases off and just focusing on the ponies?

Best Wishes...OF:howdy:

i bet against the guy who turned out to be much the best and he beat me fair and square. hats off

I had a nice 25-1 wager on Kenseth in the weekends NASCAR race and he was also much the best but a fluke cost him and me.

in this case I could have got a fluke second round loss by Abreau (he had 2 HR's wih 8 outs!) and had lots of chance to lose with Papa due up in the second round but it did not happen.

I try try try to wager on overlays sometimes the handicapping is just off.

Still cannot believe Kenseth got 4 tires, knowing track position is everything at that place. Unbelievable.
