This home run derby is pretty boring as is...but listening to Chris Berman's "back, back, back, back" and all his stupid sayings is making this much worse.

Berman has gotten old...desperately needs some new material and a good diet of about 3 yrs.

He should probably just stick to doing Primetime. The show I mean, not the player.

Berman sucks for the homerun derby, but why is anyone watching that anyway? I like him for NFL Prime Time, and I think he makes it exciting. Seems like a decent guy to me.

The worst part for me is I just have it on in the background...I am more listening to it than watching it in case anything exciting goes on. So it is making it even worse for me.

I really enjoyed Berman doing the US Open. He brought some life to the golf broadcast. Something that is desparatly needed. Im tired of hearing golf anouncers whisper in the microphone when they are 100 yards away from the action.

We loved Berman in My College days of the mid 80's. The Nicknames, the back-back-back etc.

But it is Now some Stale shit. He sucks, hard to believe he keeps his job.

It's more the fact this thing is in its' 4th hour, as opposed to Berman irritating..

Have a friend at ESPN who says Berman is a major coke head.

I've been thinking this could be the case for a while. If you watch Primetime, and watch his mannerisms and disjointed thought patterns, it could be...........

The guy is a legend, the face of ESPN. Yet I can't help but think that his baseball co-announcers are sometimes embarrased by some of his comments and are too much in awe of him to say anything. I love him doing football. football. yes, football. nothing else.

NFL Primetime wouldn't be the same without him. That is the (one) place that is a very good fit for him.

Since Monday Night Foots is on ESPN this year, have they "announced the announcers"?

MNF isn't MNF when it's not on ABC.....some things just shouldn't be messed with.
