Need umpire info please

Just curious to know if there is a site out there that posts the ump crews for upcoming games.....sure there is.....how soon is that information released to the "general public"????

"general public" = your average gamblers....

I understand the crews rotate positions clockwise....home ump goes to third next game, then to second, then to first, then next game back behind home plate....

Does anybody here "follow the umps"....or at least make them a factor in determining an o/u play?

crews are not available to "the joe public" until about an hour or less before game time for the first game in all games. The best site to get the umps on that first game is mlb.com under game day (the green field). As far as stats for all umps. Staxfox, covers and Jim Heist all do a decent job with Statfox doing the best in my opinion. To answer the question does anyone use umps in determining their plays. I do, of course I also look at pitchers, team vs. team history, weather and umps. Umpires to me can squeeze the plate or expand it and can favor hometeams as well. If you look in here on a daily basis, I started a thread just for the umps when any are posted to be behind the plate.

was hoping for Montaque and a 20 mph wind out to center for tomorrow night....heard it's Joe West in a crosswind and 30% chance of rain... :icon_conf
