ok so everyone thinks that im wrong and full of shit. i will say my peace. i am not going to bitch and moan about failing the test. the same test that royal refused to take. did they refuse to take it because they know its not 100% accurate or because they had things to hide.
all i will say is that there are details to this matter that myself and royal will never let out. i agreed to take the test and have to live with the outcome. keep in mind that i could have admitted to lying and received 20 thou.
why to this day does royal want me back. i know what youre thinking. because im a loser and they want my money. but if im trying to scam them then surely they wouldnt trust me and want me as a customer. here are some details that may make you think again.
as you know i was referred by jim from osga back to royal even though royal slow paid me a few years back. he assures me they are solid now. ok i call royal and richard also assures me that royal has new ownership and i will be treated righteouslly. i inform him that ive just had 4 open heart surgeries 3 months earlier and dont want any problems. we go over everything. payouts take 5 to 7 days. i tell him ill be sending 20 thou so i intend on winning and dont want any problems getting paid. he says Dave royal is hot shit and we can send you all your money at once no problem. no mention of 10 dime max per week. i wire 20. lose it and wire 20 more. lose that and wire 20 more at which time royal is taking a lot of heat on the internet about some other matter and so i call richard again and he assures me that people are making shit up about them and tej and that i have no worries.
again we go over pay out rules and everything because i asked for a 40% bonus and i got it. i start with 28 thou with a ten time rollover and 30 day hold. i let him know im concerned about rumors and richard smooth talks his way. i even called jim at this point and let him know what i was sending and informed him about bonus and its restrictions so that royal could not lie its way out of it. it is then that i get hot and start requesting payouts.
again i let jim know every move and even tell richard that im informing jim. i do receive about 4 checks worth just under 10 thou each. im being told to keep them under ten but in no way being told that they can only send ten a week. my balance including payouts reaches about 170 thou. i now have 3 payouts on the way. 2 for ten thou and 1 for thirty thou that richard tells me ill get one after another. such as one on monday then tuesday and so forth. it is here that i lose the last 100 thou in wy account. May 21 to be exact.
after 2 weeks of richard telling me that my fed ex numbers will be ready tomorrow, my balance reaches zero. richard makes his call as he always does when my balance reaches 0 and asks me if i want to deposit. i know what he means. stop checks. i tell that im a little upset about the amount of time its taking to receive $ i requested 2 weeks ago and that i want to wait and see how long it takes until they arrive. he says ok.
next day he calls again while im driving home from tijuana where ive made my bets for the day. again he asks me to stop checks and i tell him im all set and that i just made my bets in mexico. he is clearly upset. it is here when it all comes out.
after delaying my fed ex #s every day for another week he informs me that theirs been a change and that my first check wont arrive for another week and that ill receive 1 per week until im paid off. im obviously pissed and call jim. jim calls richard and then calls me back to say that yes Dave Royal says that you kicked their ass and dont want your bets anymore. thats how you are going to be paid. great help jim. so you can see that royal/richard had never even processed my payouts.
they are sitting their while i still have 100 thou in my account and sitting on my $ that yes was taken from my balance. so basically royal is now going to slow pay me with my own $ . This after swearing to me that royal doesnt do this anymore and with full knowlrdge of my health problems. It is here that i learn of the rx .
after receiving a couple of checks i call them and they push for a quick payout. Ill come back to tell you the rest. First i want to tell you what it was like to be a player at Royal. they told me that my limit was 5 dimes but if i wanted more to just let them know and they would try to accomodate.
the first few times i asked for 10 thou on a game they would say not this game dave. you can have any other game for ten except this one. then when i complained about this ploy richard told me to just tell them the game ,not the team, in advance and they would tell you the max for each side. when i followed this order i was told that 5 was the max for all games.
finally a guy named jp told me to just ask the clerk for the hot plays and therefore i could bet the other games for whatever i wanted. seemed perfect until rick the stage manager who took my bets at the time told me that their were no hot plays and i then asked for 10 on the cardinals. believe it when i tell you that rick puts me on hold and then says any game but this one. he got out of this one by saying that everyone there at royal liked the cards too. i obviously demand to speak to richard and he says ill let you have 6500.
on more than one occasion i would be given a line , place the bet , and then on the read back be given a worse line. i caught it every time and they would act like i was being unreasonable and then just blame the guy sitting next to him, saying that he just changed the line. also id be sitting in front of the computer looking at the lines and id call them and they would give me completely different lines. they would be moving them according to who they thought id bet on.
i guess a lot of you think this is no big deal but when your betting good $ and having to deal with this shady stuff day after day, it gets annoying. ive been with 20 or more books and never dealt with this kind of stuff.
the last thing ill mention is the final four contest that they had. i nailed the final 4 with an entry that was placed before the tourny started. after richard already told me that only 3 people had also hit it, he calls me back and says 20 others hit it. he claims that entrys were put in up until the elite 8. something i was never told. i had 80 entrys since i had sent 20 grand. i also was never told of my entrys. i was only told when i happened upon the contest 1 hour before the first game and called to inform. this would have been a perfect tim to tell me that i had until the elite 8. later i was told by someone who used to work there that these contests were a scam. i was given 5 thou by kevin when i brought all this to his attention.
think what you will. now ill go back to what is relevent.

But please, there are so many good books out there. Royal will not learn from this. Ive been told that there are currently 17 other slow pay complaints out there. Dont just say that slow pays are part of the biz. no they arent. I was the best customer they ever had. i would have stayed and played there for years to come. that and everything else i shared with you about royal is no way to run a legit biz.
