I put that contract up there with the Adonal Foyle contract as one of the worst of all time. Way overpaid. This guy will be a back-up for the rest of his career. This is a joke.

These contracts amaze me. I just don't understand how the league got to this point where guys like this off season can demand this kind of money. It is out of hand. These jerk off agents are a big reason.

The owner is rich, hell he is a U.S Senator so I think Herb Kohl can afford to throw in a few bucks into the luxury tax. The contact Gadzuric got is market value for a big man. He isn't a total stiff and is better than Foyle. On to the question of why NBA players make so much money, that is easy there are only 15 guys on a team compared to 60 in the NFL, MLB, NHL each have around 24 players each with farm system to add to that payroll. In the NBA out of those 15 guys really only 5-6 make major cash so that is why a role player like Gadzuric can make major cash when in fact he is just a role player for a team.

They had 2 big contracts (Anthony Mason and Jason Caffey - big time busts) just come off their books at the end of this year. They also got rid of Keith Van Horn and his $16 million a year in a trade to Dallas along with trading Mike James to Houston (est. $3.5 million).
