Toronto -1 1/2 (-102) (2 units)...Getting to the point where I can trust Lilly again. He's recovered nicely from a horrendous start. Jays should put up some runs vs. Fossum, and TB will be a good "play against' team in the 2nd half at the right price vs. these East teams battling for the playoffs. Jays need to win these type games, so they can stay close until they get their Ace Halladay back. Also, should get Koskie and Hudson back soon. Step up Jays!!!
Cleveland -123 (1 unit)...Liked the way the Indians were swinging the bats heading into the break. Not gonna read too much into the Sox getting swept vs. Oakland last week, as the A's have been hot. Millwood had a bad outing last time, and he always seems to bounceback the next time out.He's been solid twice already this season vs. the Chisox. Still don't like Contreras much, Clev should have their chances.
Philadelphia -117 (1 unit)...Liked the way Myers has rebounded the last 2 starts, while Burnett knows he's on the way out of Florida. Gotta be weighing on him a bit. Fla can't afford to have him throwing nearly 130 each time out. If his pitch count gets way up there, the Phils may wear him out. Fla's lineup has disappointed me all season. Gimme the hitters in the hitters ballpark.
