Chris Collinsworth will take his somewhat irritating style of commentary to NBC next season. He will be leaving FOX in order take over as one of the NFL commentators for NBC's newly acquired Sunday Night Football broadcast. He will not actually call the games, but will be part of a one hour NFL pre-game show that will air on Sundays at 8pm.

Chris Collinsworth has made quite a name for himself as a commentator. Although some find his style a bit abrasive, he has managed to work on some of the most popular NFL shows on the market. Collinsworth began his media career working for NBC from 90' to 96'. He then joined fox in 98' and has been there ever since. In addition, Collinsworth has worked as a commentator for HBO's "Inside the NFL".

On a side note, NBC has not broadcasted an NFL game since 1997.

I hate this guy...he is such a wiesel.

At least he states an opinion- which the majority of the rest of announcers do not!:103631605
