A little 2 game skid into the AS break...back to our winning ways:
Today: BOSTON RED SOX (E)...The overvaluing of the NYY continues.In the last 7 meetings the Sox are 5-2 vs the Yanks.The NYY record this year vs the Sox with the Moose on the mound 0-3.Red Sox record in Arroyos career when he starts vs the Yanks is 5-1.The Yankees are only 17-21 on the road while the Sox are 24-14 at home.The Sox hitting .282 in Fenway...some players avgs in Fenway: Damon .388,.321 Ortiz,.304 Millar and Mueller .316.Ramirez bats only .272 at home but leads the team in RBI at home.The Sox have had success vs Mussina in the past.Now some Yankees away from the Bronx: Sheff .264, ARod .248, Jeter .250 and Posada .252.Matsui is the only guy having any sort of consistancy on the road.Arroyo hasnt been spectacular at home this year but the Sox seem to get it done for him vs the NYY.Im interested in the BP saga for the Sox but it cant be any worse than it has been can it?
