It will be hard for her to hold on after her last 2 performances down the strech but I will be rooting for her.

Man I hope she makes it to Augusta. Those redneck pricks would go nuts having to let a female compete in the tournament.

Absolutely!!!! It would be nothing short of a kick to the balls for them (Not to mention these poor pro guys that she's slapping around)

I love it :103631605

Amazing how 2 people can read the same post so differently. TT agrees with you, Hitman, I think you're both wrong. First of all, you're from Montgomery? Alabama? Be careful who you're calling "redneck pricks"! I assume "redneck pricks" refers to the Augusta National Masters Golf Committee? Why would they "go nuts"? Not that the Masters needs more publicity, but having Wie qualify for the Masters would be the best publicity they could ever hope for. I hope she makes it!

If she wins the Masters, it will be the biggest story since David (not the one from Royal) slew Goliath!

AND, at the Champion's Dinner in 2007, they would be forced to eat luau style eating poi, drinking mai tais and wearing flowered leis. Timmy Chang could be a bus boy.

Just because she wins doesn't mean she'll automatically get an invitation to the Masters. They traditionally invite the winner from this event, but nothing in writing says they have to. I believe if she should win they won't invite her. She's a little too cocky anyway. She thinks she can actually compete with the male pros? She'd crack and fall apart whenever there's pressure, and then cry, like a typical female. We don't need to see that crap.

Come on-don't think for a second that they would deny her entry.

The Masters is an invitational tournament. TRADITIONALLY, the winner of the PUB LINX gets an invite!

Of course they would invite her!

But to EVER THINK that she could come within 10 strokes of the winner, would be just plain stupid!!! SHE WILL NEVER come within 10 strokes of winning the event, mark it down!

Keep in mind that in the John Deer "classic", she wasnt playing against the top notch pros! HEnce all of the coverage of her in the tournament!

PO69...I think she still has a big problem with pressure, and nothing would touch this if she was close.

If she's even remotely close come Sunday morning, I'm going to UN-LOAD against her, and then feel bad for her as she crumbles unlike she ever has before.

Pressure? This one will kill her if she makes it-at least until she realized that she was playing in the f'ing MASTERS!

Just to leave no doubt that Wie would get a Masters invite should she win the PLA championship. Bobby Jones, creator of the Augusta National Golf Club and the Masters tournament, made it clear that U.S. amateur champions would be invited to play at his tournament, the Masters. Jones died in 1971, but his legacy lives on.

ofcourse she wouldnt do well as a 15 year old in the masters . but i have no doubt she will play there when she is much older and probably compete just fine.

get off her about choking and crying like a baby .

she is 15 and is playing with the best . she isnt playing against other 15 year olds..

like i said earlier , if she qualifys it will be one of the 5 biggest sport stories in the last 50 years.

i hope she makes it.
