We get the "casino rate" of $79 for extra days. On their website it's $65.49 !

You can get the cheaper rate, but must change rooms, not really worth the trouble !

internet costs $12 for 24 hours, $6 for 2 hours. The wonderful hotel practice of hidden fees ! local calls probably cost $2, etc.

...........................................................................................................

Question about wireless internet ?

Mine has a good range at home. How does a hotel provide it to room #303, without all nearby rooms also getting it ?

Just gamble a bunch and get it all comped. $12 per 24 hours is bit on the high side. MGM charged $10 when I stayed there last week.

doug...its BECAUSE they are giving you 2 FREE WEEKEND nights already at whatever the weekend rate is lets say 89$ your saving 180$ plus taxes

I saw that offer also...offers can not be combined... so if your staying 4 nights at 79$ thats 316 plus taxes

if you got the net rate at 65$ its 260...

now 4 nights is only costing you about 170 because 2 are free

Those of us from Hawaii get $59 a night on weekdays, $79 a night on weekends PLUS free buffet tickets. It is the ALOHA CENTENNIAL SPECIAL. They probably wont verify you are from Hawaii from the reservations standpoint, but book it at your own risk if you want to try.

Hotels require ID, I wouldn't try that !

charging for internet access? pathetic....

I expected that, they charge over $1 (from room) for local calls in every LV hotel I've seen.

Any places give free internet ? I'll probably just leave the computer at home, play blackjack not baseball.

Are you going, Sherman ?

Only places that you get it free make it real clear you get it free these days. The Courtyard is always free, I think a chain or two does it for free. I think hotel/casinos will be the last place you should ever expect it from. They do everything possible to keep you out of the room. The TV has like 13 channels on it if you are lucky and even more amazing, its often TVs that don't even have inputs into them. This point was made to me by a business associate out in LV for 5 days with his kids. He brings the Xbox with him everywhere and the TVs in his Strip hotel can't handle them. He went out to Walmart and bought a TV and will leave it in his local office! Its little subtle things like this that would drive you nuts if you noticed, but of course most people have little use for a room here other than a shower and a bed.

what's next no bathrooms?

How about the old-fashioned pay-tiolets ? I think you're too young to remember those, Sherman. You put a dime in a slot and turn the handle to access the stall or the bathroom door itself, went out in early 70's I believe, I think they outlawed the practice ! You'd find them at places like Caldor, Bradley's.
