Not me. I started about 8 years ago when I turned 21. I wish I would have given all of the money I lost to charity instead of trying to beat games with a mathematical edge against me.

yes, but I know I am in the minority...and I know it has nothing to do with my skill....i have had some incredible streaks in BJ and walked away when I was up.

I spent 6 months doing a tv show inside Green Valley Ranch. and I saw first hand on a daily basis just how much money the casino made. and I saw how hard it was to win for the player.

Many slot/vp pros have hammered Green Valley Ranch in the past.........and continue to do so to this day.

They don't 86 people for losing. Still banned from a couple. Sports, bank slots, video poker, some 3 card poker for entertainment/win. Really nasty working offshores vs. land based. Just a matter of time before the door.

Best Wishes...OF:howdy:

It's not that difficult to be up at land-based casinos. You need to limit yourself to games that can be beat.

I consider those to be only:

Blackjack ( with counting)
Rare slots, VP ( with expert strategy)
Live Poker ( be significantly better than opponents)
Sports ( hit greater than 52.38% against -110)

I don't think any other game belongs on the list. Apoligies to Tate and his Roullette and craps systems.

Would add BINGO to your list.

Fish : Is Bingo really a skill, or just a prize overlay ? If it's guaranteed 100k in prizes with 1k buy, and only 80 enter, there's 20k extra ! Is marking your card a "skill" ? It's more like an Rx contest, IMO.

Tons, took almost a quarter million out of the books back before they cared much. Poker has made me some money and I do believe I am up a little bit playing craps. Blackjack probably has yielded me a small loss since most of the time I don't play it seriously. Almost never play slots or VP.

being up at craps is mathematically unlikely, BJ should be positive if you can count, and get away with it. Craps bores me in 5 minutes flat !

Indeed it is luck, but I have had some HUGE rolls at the table. One weekend I won almost $10k playing almost nothing but craps, one of those runs where everything went right. I have given some of that back over time, but I just enjoy it. I used to count cards, but I just play BJ too recreationally to bother with it. Just go basic strategy and don't mind giving up a few bucks to the house if need be. I still remember once in awhile playing in a casino is supposed to be entertainment, not necessarily just about getting an edge.

L10 yrs played almost exclusivly BJ # Indian Casinos. 1st few yrs was up a lot, but they have tightened down and it`s tougher now. Don`t go much anymore and play mostly online. What happens when you get older I guess, the days of 14 hr sessions @ the table are gone along w/a lot of other things. But I DO enjoy sports betting and may go out to LV or Reno this fall.

WB: I wan't a mathematically sound reason why craps is beatable, or any other casino game, I consider dice to lack that. Variance is one thing, craps has that.

Have you tracked the result of every craps bet, you've made in your lifetime ?

Math suggests you should be behind. I can't prove it or disprove it !

I don't have a record of every bet BJ I ever made, either !
