* Rumor has it, The Rolling Stones are coming to the
MGM Grand Garden on November 18. No confirmation
from the casino at this time but we feel it is a true story.
* The Moody Blues, will perform in the Danny Gans Theatre
at The Mirage Friday, November 18-19 at 9p and tickets
cost between $75-$100 plus tax. The Moody Blues have
sold more than 55 million albums worldwide.
* Michael Bolton will grace Lake Las Vegas Resort's
floating stage, 9p, August 6, Tickets for Michael Bolton
are $100 for VIP seating and $49.95 for General
Admission. Bolton has sold more than 52 million
albums and singles worldwide.
* Green Valley Ranch Hotel Spa Casino today announced
its much-anticipated 24-hour full service restaurant, the
Grand Cafe, opens to the public July 18. The Grand Caf,
occupies an entirely new space convenient to both casino
and hotel guests. The 230-seat Grand Caf, is far from
the typical 24-hour casino cafe.
* Binion's Gambling Hall & Hotel in Downtown Las Vegas,
the birthplace of the World Series of Poker, will return to
international poker competition in Fall 2006 with a new
tournament, Binion's Poker Classic.
* August 8 is the scheduled opening of Caesars Palace
new Augustus Tower. The 949 rooms will feature every
convenience and each room is oversized.
* Congratulations to Norbert Aleman for joining the
Players Network management team. Norbert is
already famous for creating two outstanding shows
in Las Vegas, Crazy Girls and An Evening at La Cage.
* Hot, hot, hot is the weather report for Las Vegas.

even though the monsoon season was supposed to

get a check from the state in the amount of $75-$275.
This is part of the $300 million rebate the Legislature
decided to disperse to residents who have registered
vehicles in Nevada.
* Recently at Riverside Resort in Laughlin comic Gallagher
allegedly smacked a fan. This week that fan, Edwin
May III, filed a lawsuit suit which states May is seeking
$10,000 in damages and is also suing the casino.
