Vegas can definitely get very hot, but during the years I lived there I found that you got used to it (at least a little bit). Everyplace is air conditioned, so it becomes a matter of hoping from place to place in AC equipped cars. I played a lot of golf in Vegas over the years, but almost always tired to play either very early or very late in the day to beat the heaviest heat. Having a pool in your backyard is also a must, nothing like a dip in crystal clear cold water after a hard day on the links (or actually working).

Anybody here ever been to Hawaii? I'm off to paradise tomorrow for a week. First thing I want to see is Pearl Harbor.

Any other suggestions?

I have been there a few times. My advice is to rent a car and get out of the honolulu area.Take the trip around the whole island as each part of the island is a little different. If you can take a island hopper trip to the other islands you will see how beautiful and different each island is.Have fun!!

Have to do the the Lua au at Paradise Cove in Honolulu,it's the best show and food in all of the Islands...

Horse back trips are kewl, we had a blast...We took ours on Kawaii, got to swim in and slide down a waterfall...

Go stay atleast 2 days on Kawaii, the most beautiful Island of them all; it's very tropical and hardly no tourists.

Check out the Kona coffee tour, if you like coffee, this is one of the best in the world..

That always pissed me off ! It's 115 degrees, and the casino is so fucking cold you need to bring a sweater or jacket with you ! More like 48 degrees in there.

95 with 85% humidity here in St. Louis, I live in my uncles 4 family flat, for cheap, its got no central air. I havent put the window units it yet because I wanted to see if Id get used to it. I did quickly, I like it really hot too. Best part is waking up hungover sweating a little bit, and taking a nice nap in the cold shower. Did it this morning.
