Shale,
Carpenter has been the toughest pitcher in baseball over the last month. In fact over last 5 starts has given up 0,1,0,0,1 for a total of 2 runs. Houston will need to score 4-5 runs to win this game. Don't believe it is going to happen. Also, today is Jim Edmonds Day in St. Louis. They are giving away figurines of Edmonds catch in Game 7 ly NLCS so it will be a sold out crowd. People obviously are not believers yet. Also, Houston is a very poor road team who have given every they had and still lost first 2 games of this series. Would it surprise me if Clemens won? No, but it would surprise me even more if Carpenter does not win! He has been that untouchable. I tend to think with the heat index at over 110 today in STL that pitchers won't go more than 6-7 innings in this one today with more offense than expected and ball will travel well today at Busch.
