So I'm looking at tomorrow's games.....liking Hou/Pitt over 9 in the first game of the double-header, and the Yanks over 11.....

Hou play is at -110
NYY play is at -130

A two teamer risking $55 pays $130.77

An "if bet", risking 55 to win 50 on the Houston game, and then rolling the whole 105 onto the total of the NYY game, pays $130.77...

Both payouts are the same? How can that be? Are the odds that effected by the -130 bet that the payout could be the same?????

Any advantage to playing the parlay over the if bet or vice-versa?

I'm not the best with "IF" bets, but it looks right.

If done seperately ( enough time between games), the 55 becomes 105, re-betting the 105 at -130 wins 80.77 for a total win off 130.77

The parlay pays the same.

My view is the "IF" bet allows you make a bet on games played at the same time without having enough $ on account to bet them both individually.

I think I did it once to test it.

Maybe somebody else will explain it better, reading rules on it are confusing.

I plugged it in both ways to see what the payouts were on a $55 risk, and surprisingly both payout were the same.....usually it doesn't figure out that way....I've played if bets before....usually low on funds or I want to risk a certain amount.....

So in the end I played an if bet, and rolled the whole amount, if the first wins, on the Yanks total.....last I saw it was 5-0 in the 4th inning.....
