Pretty easy win yesterday.Today:
Over 11.5 Texas/NYY (-108) Mussina vs Ho
Mussina on the road has not been praiseworthy.Teams are batting .301 against him away from NY.His era is 5.34 (whip 1.47) and the Over is 6-4 in these starts. The Rangers love RH pitching as they avg 6.1 rpg vs RH starters this year.Just like the Yanks the Rangers have been hitting avg 6.7 rpg over the L7 and have continually put runs up at home (6.1 rpg at home/.285 avg). Now Ho has actually been alright at home with an era of 3.80 (whip of 1.48 however).Often the Rangers give him good run support in these games as the Over 6-2.Im not sure he'll be able to slow down the Yanks though.NYY hits RH pitching pretty well also avg. 5.7 rpg vs RH starters and is avg almost 7 rpg over the L7 games.Ho pitched a gem in his last start vs NY allowing 1 er in the Bronx in a Texas win. That was when the Yanks were ice cold....now theyre red hot.Hes in trouble IMO.There isnt anybody in either pen aside from Rivera that I consider solid. The NYY BP road era is 4.46 while the Texas BP home era is 5.53.Then theres Jim Reynolds the ump: 301 ppg , 62.3 strike% and 6.9 bb/g.A definite Over umpire.Even if these two teams score HALF as many runs as they scored last night were almost there.Im seeing 7-5...8-6.
