When selecting a fantasy team...all you have to do is get yourself someone that has played in an allstar game in the past to fill each position on your team...how can you go wrong. For instance...here is a team you could have put together for this season.

1B Jim Thome
2B Brett Boone
3B Mike Lowell
SS Nomar Garciaparra
LF Barry Bonds
CF Bernie Williams
RF Sammy Sosa
C Benito Santiago

in the pitching department it dosen't get any easier.

Curt Schilling
Carl Pavano
Jason Schmidt
Kevin Brown
Tom Glavine

and for your closer be sure to go with

Keith Foulke

played for a NL club ...nor any other

team ,for that matter.

His name...Bernie Williams.

Not so funny when you're the guy that drafted Bonds, Glavine and Schilling (14th overall, nonetheless).

The irony is that I drafted Griffey too and he's been my healthiest & most consistant player .. go figure.

The secret is simple. Draft all offense and ace closers. look for some steals on good SP in the mid to late rounds.

It really is that simple. Just tweak these basic ideas, and you'll be on your way. Pay attention to the waiver wire, maybe get a hot callup or interleague trade, and the YooHoo shower is yours.
