Watching Baseball wagers on scoreboard /T.V., any peculiar habits you've developed?

I can't watch when my team is trailing...once my team goes down a run or more, I can't watch, I will watch when they go on defense (in the field) but once I am down in the game I can't watch pitch by pitch...

I will peak at the scoreboard to see if they're still at bat, once I see 'End of Inning' , I click it on to make sure I don't fall further behind...

Anyone else do this stuff?

I cannot watch when I need runs and trailing....baseball is the only sport that I find it impossible to watch the scoreboard when I'm losing....

LOL- when I get two strikes on an opponents batter and men are on base, I click on 'refresh' 25-30 times between pitches :digit:

Baseball is by far the hardest to watch when betting on it...totals are even worse :icon_conf

I bet a lot do this...and waiting for a rally is awful...first guy up goes down, you know the inning is already not looking good....

National League bottom of the order, pitcher comes up, two men on one out, there goes the inning...

when my team gets down and its on tv i go to the computer.just a habit for me sort of supersticious.i just got cable internet and im lovin it.what the hell took me so long.lol

I squint threw my fingers to see if it was an out of or a base hit

....but if they are down I do not watch unless they are on offense

I love when I see my team tie it up and it shows they're still batting, then I click it on...lol, its like opening a surprise, see what I get..usually its 2 outs and the bases empty though :icon_conf

..been doing it this way for years... :icon_conf

If I see the ESPN ticker come up with the game I am in...I hold my hand up so I cannot see the score, just see if I'm still batting first in that inning , then I lower my hand to see if any runs came in....does anyone else do that?

on mlb.com, my heart starts beating faster when i see the no out recorded signal come up for my opponents. For 10 seconds, I'm left thinking whether it was a single, double, triple. When my team is on offense, I always minimize the screen when it's the bottom order or if it's bases loaded. 5 minutes later, I check and see what happened. Like you Journey, I think I've watched only one game where I had money on it. It's extremely frustrating to watch it live and with moolah on the game.

If I see a game has ended , and the score is different from last I checked, and I won the game...I will check a few different places just to make sure it's right ...

i love when they say run-scoring -play
no outs recordedarty:

i try to picture where the hit is gonna be when you see the no outs recorded and the dot is on the outside of the strikezone

i am pretty good at it

I thought I was the only one who did these things. Sometimes MLB.com shows No out recorded but it takes awhile to show up. If it takes to long (10 secs) I frantically go to yahoo, Cbssportsline, or Espn.com to see if i can find out faster.

I do that too! I think the scoreboard I'm using may have died out...so i will pull up another site just to make sure..and those 8 seconds are excruciating! :digit:

I think we all don't want to be shocked more than necessary, is why we need to know at the particular moment it happens...

i do not watch the baseball games on tv,i just check the scores on mlb.com every half hour or so,usually that makes me do this :headbeat:

i put my hand on the computer screen and from top to bottom come down slowly with scores e's the hits then score of the games i bet, while i do this the score is always covered bye my hand until i get to it, lol for some reason it makes me feel like i have a better shot at the outcome, lmfao :monsters-
