I can only talk about British Books but I see the same hand-writing on your side of the pond. Putting aside who makes the line, The big books in Britain,(Vegas) because sports betting ( NFL,MLB,NBA,College etc) isnt their main business, can afford to wait and see how the market goes. Even if they dont, their take out is high enough to not worry about the outcome long term. On the other hand, Off-shore is a pack of Dogs fighting over a bone, in order to get some of the action, have to take a view and offer keen prices. In Britain and probably the States, the big boys actually take advantage of these books, sometimes collapsing a price with the small books money. The bottom line on both sides of the Atlantic is real estate, when you have the places for mugs by the thousands, to walk in and off-load, you can take the piss.
