Umpire Doug Eddings, who calls anything within a foot of the strike zone a strike, is at it again in Toronto. He just called two strikes on Vernon Wells that weren't even close.

Jays are up 4-0 going into the 5th and the M's have one hit...an infield dribbler by Sexson. With the way Eddings is calling pitches, Jays backers should cash this eve.

Jays now up 7-1, bottom of 6th, two outs with a Jay on 2nd. Hopefully the M's replace hapless Franklin with the equally hapless Shiggy.

Looking good

Now 9-1 in the top of the 7th. The Jays pen sucks in a big way, but so do Mariner bats, so I feel perty damn good about this one.
