There lead is too big in the central right now. They are americas #1 public team right now along with the Yankees. With these to factors combined you have a great money making proposition. This is nothing against St Louis. They have a fine baseball team that will be a huge factor in October but they are clearly coasting right now.

...and the Nats...

They will end up at the bottom of the NL East before season's end...

I agree again.

Play against all three every day and you will have more winning days than not.

Also, watch the tigers. They are a different team with Ordonez in the lineup. If they had a closer, I would be a lot higher on them.

Also watch the Dodgers when and if both Milton Bradley and JD Drew both come back at the same time. They will be a good play later on in the season.

Great Points By All

Love the Cards but a little pop sems to have gone out of their lineup lately. And there`s no way the Nats can keep winning @ that pace scoring the way they do, fewest runs in MLB.

This is one of the best threads around here in a while.

Highly agree on the white sox slide, cards probably will coast, and fading the nats.

also want to throw in the twins, they will be winning more games than losing.

Cards pitching will keep them in nearly all games. Expect a trade for an of before trade deadline and knowing Jocketty, it will be a big name like Griffey or Pierre.

The Nationals are a big time play against. I have MLB Extra Innings. This team is imploding. I disagree with the ChiSox and Cards. The Cards are made for the regular season. Good pitching, fielding, and hitting. A manager that has them on their toes. The ChiSox have made me believers out of me. They never quit.

I agree with the Nats and the White Sox, but totally DISAGREE with the Cards. The two recent games that they have lost, they have had guys sitting. Edmonds, Walker, Eckstein...I was actually against them both today and Tuesday when they lost. But I was on them due to the fact that they were facing two hot pitchers, in Davis and Capuano, and because they had key guys missing from the lineup. I think if you go against them blindly, you will get killed. Pick your spots to go against them.

VERY GOOD INPUT HERE GUYS ! I THINK THE NATIONALS ARE A SELF DESTRUCTION HAPPENING RIGHT NOW AND WILL FADE THEM THE REST OF THE YEAR. HOWEVER I THINK THE CARDS AND SOX AS LONG AS THEY ARE HEALTHY WILL PLAY WELL THE REST OF THE YEAR . THE WHITE SOX MANAGER'S FOR THE SOX AND CARDS WON'T LET THEM GET TOO FAR OFF TRACK FROM THE BIG PICTURE . AND LET'S NOT FORGET THAT THESE TWO TEAMS ARE PLAYING FOR INDIVIDUAL STATS ALSO WICH CAN MAKE THERE PLAYER'S ALOT MORE MONEY IN INCENTIVE'S . SO THAT BEING SAID I STILL THINK THE SOX AND CARDS WILL PLAY OUT THE SEASON GIVE AND TAKE A FEW NIGHTS WHEN RESTING PLAYER'S .
