MLB record to date: 294-270 +32.7 units
any of the stats you see listed I got off the covers matchups

Houston -1 -120 (Clemens vs Drese) *2 units*
Washington coming back to earth as injury bug has caught them,, Castilla , Johnson and Spivey out,, there is talk about slugger Guillen possibly missing some time now with a bad shoulder.. Houston has caught fire lately, and basically this comes down to having one heck of a pitcher on the mound in Clemens, vs the very inconsistent Drese..

LA Dodgers/NYM under 8 -120 (Weaver vs Zambrano)
These 2 pitchers have been lights out their past 10 starts each and with the weak hitting Dodgers involved,, under seems like the play here.. hopefully the bullpens don't get too involved in this one.. Both these teams have bad averages against right handed pitching.. Under is 8-0 in Weaver's last 8 starts, and Zambrano has gone under in 7 of his 10 starts..

Chicago Cubs +160 (Zambrano vs Carpenter) It's not often I go against one of the best teams in the game with a pitcher who is on fire taking the mound.. but this is just too good of value to pass up with Zambrano on the mound.

Florida/San Fran over 8 -120 (Willis vs Tomko)
Marlins are on a 10 game streak of overs while Giants have gone over in 5 of Tomko's last 6 starts. Willis has been hit hard in 3 of his past 4 starts and it's been noted that he hasn't been throwing the ball as hard as he was earlier in the season,, possibly due to having a "dead arm" after pitching a lot of innings first half of the season and throwing pretty hard. Not much you can do with a dead arm except keep throwing and wait for you strength to eventually come back. I expect the Giants to get a few runs off Willis at least, but the hot hitting Marlins should be able to get their share off Tomko as well.. bought the half run down to 8,, seems like it's worth a shot here.

Atlanta -1 -122 (Hudson vs Vargas) *2 units*
Hudson had a great outing his first game back after a month off and I expect to see more of the same tonight. Vargas has pitched well his past few starts, but I will have to side with the better hitting club in the Braves, with the more reliable pitcher in Hudson on the mound here...

Atl/Ariz under 9.5 -120 (Hudson vs Vargas)
I like the way Vargas has pitched lately, very solid his past few starts.. Coupled with the return of a healthy Hudson and neither of these 2 teams being offensive juggernauts,, I see the Braves winning this in a close low scoring game

Baltimore -130 (Chen vs McClung) Baltimore just seems to own TB. 9-5 against them last year, and 5-1 already this season,, 8-1 their last 9 meetings. Chen and McClung both pitching pretty well of late, I just think the O's will be pretty hungry for this one after dropping 2 close ones in Minny and overall are the better club here..

NYY/LAA over 9 -116 (Leiter vs Lackey) Yanks bats have woken up past couple weeks and are scoring some runs. Leiter stunk it up with Florida most of the season,, so I'm not about to jump on his bandwagon after 1 good start since joining the Yanks,, could be a fair amount of runs scored in this one.. I bought this one down to 9 so all we need is a 4-4 game and were guaranteed at least a push..

that's it for now,, may add one or two more later,, goodluck
