Are any books open 24/7?
hey guys forgive my ignorance...but I have no idea and am highly curious?
VegasVic said:Agree with Kenny B that no one can compare to Pinnacle in Vegas but if you're seeking a Vegas book that puts up early overnights I do know that the El Cortez, (downtown), puts theirs up around 2:00 p.m., (or there abouts), for the next days action. Needless to say it is a dime line.

The Plaza has a different owner now. They did some remodeling in the sportsbook. They also have the distinction of having lines up for every NFL game of the entire season right now.

They had some sort of beeper system so that they could verify you were within the states borders, but now they have approved and are experimenting with some sort of cell phone Global Positioning System that can verify you are calling from within the state. As far as I know they have something in place right now to take bets from outside the casino.
Usually the only time the sportsbooks stay open 24/7 is during the football season and that's usually on Friday and Saturday nights. Hearing that the Barbary is open 23/7 is a suprise to me.
